• Snack on charcoal grilled corn-on-the-cob
  • Pick your dinner right from the tank

Dining on grilled fish a skip away from the sea with a Bintang in hand at Ganesha Cafe on Jimbaran Bay is Bali-by-the-books—in the best way possible. It’s all about taking it easy, starting with a lift from the hotel via the cafe’s complimentary car service. Time your arrival 30 minutes prior to sunset, and if you happen to see the vendors hawking charcoal-grilled corn-on-the cob, grab an ear as a pre-dinner snack. Ganesha’s beachfront setting is simple and the grilled-to-order seafood menu (choose your still-swimming entree from the wall of tanks) is straightforward—but all is spot on. Squid, lobster, or crab will be cooked in either a house-made garlic or Balinese sauce and served with steamed rice, vegetables, peanuts, and fruit. Even the wedding party-like band playing Top 40s hits somehow seems just right in this setting.

Have the concierge call ahead to make your reservation and arrange for the restaurant’s pick-up service. Ganesha is a 20-minute drive from the hotel.
