• Decompress with a massage that mimics the flow of the ocean
  • Relax in your private spa pavilion amidst fountains and tropical gardens

Need a hand switching into vacation mode? How about two? Conrad Bali’s Jiwa Spa offers ten spacious treatment rooms, a light-flooded relaxation lounge, and a 25-meter rooftop infinity pool. Jiwa is Bahasa Indonesia for “soul," and there's an extensive menu of soul-soothing treatments—but we usually opt for the spa’s signature Ocean Flow Signature Massage, whose movements mimic the ebb and flow of the sea. Your therapist begins with a gentle rocking motion to agitate the stiffness out of your body. Once some flexibility is introduced, the next 50 minutes are spent coaxing out knots and kinks with long strokes and a medium-firm acupressure targeted at pre-identified problem areas. For men, meanwhile, there are several male-focused treatments using VitaMan products, including the one-hour All Over Detox: your therapist uses warm bamboo to roll and knead out deep-rooted muscle tension in the legs, while the upper back is treated to a detoxing body mud mask—very important for those shirtless selfies. The treatment concludes with a blissful scalp or foot massage. (For the ultimate indulgence, book your treatment in one of the spa’s five garden pavilions, framed by tropical flowers and burbling fountains.)
